Friend of a Friend

Friend of a Friend is a dynamic and eclectic band hailing from the Philadelphia area, whose roots go as deep as the connections that brought them together—most of the bandmates met through a “friend of a friend.” This backstory is reflected in the band’s name and their approach to music: uniting diverse influences and backgrounds to create a sound that has universal appeal.

Known for their high-energy performances, Friend of a Friend has an extensive catalog that spans decades, from the classic rock sounds of The Beatles and Led Zeppelin, the smooth grooves of Steely Dan and Alicia Keys, the lyrical hip-hop of Eminem, to the indie rock grit of Chappell Roan. While the band predominantly covers songs, their original material is in the works, showing a fresh side to their creativity. Whether it’s an intimate private event or a high-energy public show, they aim to offer a musical experience that resonates across generations.
